The Beginning

Some of my friends have started blogging so I thought, why not! It seems like a great way to keep everyone informed on the fun things going on with Ben and Owen. I'll try to keep it updated with fun pictures and stories.

Owen, now 10 months old, is just a sweetheart. He loves to laugh and looks to Ben for entertainment. He took his first steps yesterday!! I was sure that Jeremy was just trying to get me out of bed, but he says that Owen let go of his hands and took two steps before hitting the ground. (thank goodness for the padding of a diaper) I have tried almost obsessively to get him to do it again, but he seems content being carried or dropping to crawl to get from point A to B.

Ben is our superhero. He loves playing pretend and dressing up. He has quite the imagination! He looks forward to riding his scooter in the cul-de-sac with his buddies Jimmy and JT every evening after dinner. (They moved in next door about a month ago.) He is SO in love with their mom, "Miss Kim".

We were going to be adventurous and try out a fun spot for kids called Bump City this morning. I was up and had the boys all ready to go, but just my luck, the car wouldn't start. We're stranded at home!!! Oh, well, Jeremy will be off work soon to rescue us.
