We celebrated Valentine's Day on Friday with Ben's classmates.
Thursday night he wrote his name on superhero cards to give to his friends the next day.
When I picked him up from preschool earlier in the afternoon he was upset that two boys told him "Liar Liar". When I asked him what he had said that would warrant such a response, he replied very seriously, "That a monster ate half of my legs!" It was hard to control my laughter at the time. Later in the evening he agreed that they should get cards too.
Friday morning before the party we stopped by Walgreens to pick up candy for treat bags. Since I tend to procrastinate, the treat bags were assembled en route to the party. I waited until we were parked to twist tie them shut.
His bag was full of cards and treats and Ben promised to share them with his little brother.
