Field Trip

The preschool fall field trip was postponed until today because of the storms we had yesterday.

Ben usually has the day off on Fridays, but since he had been looking forward to it, we decided to meet his classmates at the pumpkin patch.  It was cold, windy and wet, but the boys enjoyed themselves on the obstacle course and running through the corn maze.

During the hayride I was able to put faces to some of the names that Ben talks about at home.  I was also to place some of the phrases he brings back such as "this is so stupid" and "baby head".  I am still at a loss on why he calls people "tuna"...

The kids were in continual motion so I was not able to get many pictures.  Our friend Shawn, Kayleigh's dad, was there keeping an eye on the kids as well.  He was kind enough to help me up after I tripped over bailing twine when catching Kaleigh as she jumped off of a soggy bale of hay.  (I have mentioned how graceful I am, right?)

We ducked out early after the petting zoo portion to have a drive thru lunch in the comfort of the nice warm car.
